MOOC Open eTwinning has come to an end. I had excellent few weeks learning, collaborating, communicating and working on my tasks. I learned a lot about how to create quality project on eTwinning and made me realize about the advantages and disadvantages of the eTwinning TwinSpace. It made me think of this MOOC, too. The most important part of this LE was the collaboration with other partners and support from the hosts. I found P2P assignments very useful. It was educational to read what my peers had written about my work and at the same time it made me more competitive since I always try to do my best to be in the first top 10. So is it the end? No it is just the beginning. Since I have received this badge I just can’t wait for the new school year to start and win the European label for my next project.
eTwinning here I come!

Analyzing different 2.0 tools, my curriculum aims, time availability, student needs and my skills I come up with this idea. I wanted to generalize the topic so I can involve different learning outcomes but at the same time I focused so students will be more engaged and amused into the learning process and the project. I made this mind map as a draft of my future project.
.......Or you can read it here. (I have just discovered this tool. Pictochart.)
I need to find a way how to implement more 2.0 tools in my curriculum. For that I found a lot of projects and this one is just one of the many https://www.etwinning.net/files/kits/kit_681_en.pdf
During different courses I collect different tools, gain knowledge, share comments and produce/design different useful materials relevant to my own context. It is very important for me to have a place where I can always go back, refresh my memory and use the content I have gathered.
I heard about eTwinning from my colleague few years ago but since Macedonian NSA wasn’t available then, I didn’t give it much of attention. Few months ago I was reminded and contacted with my NSA. I was given a short introduction about the possibilities that this platform offer and decided to start using it. Since then I have participated in 14 projects (some not closed yet) along with my students. I have a group of 18 etwinners who actively participate in the projects. Also I actively participated in almost all learning events and attended to a large number of web binaries. Apart from the abovementioned, eTwinning provided me with information about other courses outside eTwinning like this one. Finally, what is eTwinning for me? Place where I can work, collaborate, share and gain knowledge, improve my skills, meet new people, be awarded for the work I did, become more creative, innovative and last but not the least have fun. |
